Alena Pyne

Also deputy conductor of Qatar Concert Choir and deputy Choir Master for Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra
Irish born, Alena has studied and been involved in music all her life and is passionate about music education especially for children.  She read music in Trinity College Dublin, is a classroom music teacher, qualified piano teacher and also studied the Irish harp for a while.  She is currently studying singing at Qatar Music Academy.  Alena has completed many choral conducting courses and is currently preparing to take two diplomas : singing and music direction with the ABRSM.

Michael Pignéguy
Music Theory
Michael Pignéguy is a gifted jazz drummer, composer, band-leader, arranger and producer.  He performs & records alongside a variety of other skilled, international musicians and has been a music educator all his life.  He is a successful professional who cares about his pupils and their results. Maralyn Sargunam
Maralyn has been working with the choir from the very beginning.  She comes from Sri Lanka and has two sons in the choir.  The choir could not function without Maralyn who takes care of all things administrative.
